About This Event
Commemorate the 162nd anniversary of the Battle of South Mountain with an immersive guided experience designed for history lovers, families, and local explorers alike.
Our Hidden in Plain Sight tour offers a deep, authentic look at the often-overlooked campaign that set the stage for Antietam. We’ll travel in a guided convoy to multiple key battlefield locations, stopping to walk the ground, hear vivid storytelling, and see the terrain that shaped history.
Along the way, we’ll take a planned break at South Mountain Creamery, a working farm on the battlefield itself. Enjoy excellent local ice cream, stretch your legs, and experience Maryland agriculture on historic ground.
Join us to see South Mountain like you’ve never seen it before.
